Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast who was previously a member of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold in the team competitions and also the floor exercise. On the balance beam she received a bronze. It made her the first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to win the most medals. At the 2016 Olympics she won a gold medal in the team competition, earning her and teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being among the first Americans to have two consecutive teams gold medals. In addition, she won two silver medals in the floor exercise and the all-around individual. The two Olympics she had taken a break from competitive gymnastics during three consecutive years. Also, she was a member of the gold-winning American teams at 2 World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is doing floor exercises. Aly is a member of with the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honour of her deceased grandmother. In the future, she hopes to build a career out of fashion. It is also her goal to increase her range of leotards and also her socks line. Fierce is a new book is due out later in the year.
